Food Authenticity Network (Government Partner Projects) - FA0199

In previous years, Defra, FSA and FSS have provided funding to support specific projects led by the Food Authenticity Network (FAN), which is managed by LGC. These projects contribute to Government objectives and the FAN's goals of raising awareness of the tools available to check for mislabeling and food fraud to ensure that the UK has access to a resilient network of laboratories providing fit for purpose testing to check for food authenticity so consumers can have greater confidence in the food they buy.
