Contaminated Land Consultancy Services

To provide consultancy services in connection with the discharge of functions under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 Part IIA and the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 relating to development management by the Contracting Authorities. The Contracting Authorities are currently carrying out inspections of their districts and boroughs for land which is potentially contaminated as required under Part IIA of the Act. The Councils have completed their “initial inspection” of their districts and are moving to assess and prioritise higher risk sites. In addition the Councils are wishing to contract consultancy services for matters related to planning and development of sites where there is the possibility of contaminated land being an issue.
