Description
The University wishes to appoint a single supplier to provide the supply, delivery and installation of AV equipment. This is part of on-going work to enable the University to ensure that equipment is maintained and up to date via a replacement cycle, including the transition of moving from lamp-based projectors to laser-based technology projectors. As part of this contract, approximately 72 rooms are to be refreshed/upgraded before the start of the academic year in September 2017, based on the University's given life cycle for AV equipment (Document 9, Fixed AV 72 Rooms 2017 for more information.) The University's equipment specifications and standards shall be reviewed annually with the supplier, ensuring they are aligned to latest AV technologies and teaching requirements. This contract will be owned and managed by the department: Information Systems and Digital Services (ISDS). The ISDS department work to the below SLA, for their Incident Management Process, which should be mirrored by the Supplier.
