Description
The government is implementing wide-ranging and ambitious reform of adult social care. In December 2021, they published a white paper, People at the Heart of Care that outlined a 10-year vision that puts personalised care and support at the heart of adult social care. To achieve this vision it is vital that Nottingham City Council (NCC) have the right architecture in place to underpin and support the implementation of this 10-year vision. Implementation of the Market Sustainability Plan and Fair Cost of Care Fund is the first step that government have identified to underpin this. The government has released funding to support with this work (£1.046m has been awarded to NCC).
