Decontamination (Sterilisation) Services

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children is looking for a supplier for decontamination services. Currently the Trust has an on-site Endoscope Decontamination Unit and Medical Equipment Decontamination Unit with a not on site Sterile Services Department. The services that are being procured will encompass the following: 1 - Sterile Services - this is to be an off-site service provided to the Trust and will include transportation of instrumentation between the hospital and the contractors decontamination facility. 2 - On site team to work within the Trusts Endoscope Decontamination Unit and Medical Equipment Decontamination Units. 3 - On site portering team responsible for the delivery and collection of surgical instruments, flexible endoscopes and medical equipment. There is a requirement for the service provider to be fully compliant with the appropriate industry standards and to support the Trust in the complaint delivery of decontamination services.
