Description
The Northern Lighthouse Board have a requirement for the refurbishment and redecoration of Flannan Isle Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located west of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides off the North West of Scotland on Eilean Mor Island. The proposed works will comprise of civil maintenance repair works and the application of decorative/protective coatings to external and internal elevations of the lighthouse tower, the adjoining building and all handrails, access paths etc. Full details of the specification are included within the tender documents, these can be downloaded from our buyer profile http://nlb.g2b.info then other information. A site visit will be conducted on Tuesday 20th June 2017, please contact Colin Brolly at the above email address no later than 1600hours on Friday 16th June 2017 to confirm attendance. Access for the site visit will be by helicopter departing from Stornoway Airport at 0900 hours on the 20 June 2017. Spaces will be limited to one representative per company and they must provide a current Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) and Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System Training (EBS(C)) certificate.
