Description

The maintenance of Flood Risk Assets located within the geographical boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. The council currently has 46 separate work sites spread over its flood alleviation schemes and 22 highway lagoons, situated throughout the county of the East Riding of Yorkshire, which are required to be maintained to ensure that their operational capability meets the required standard to handle potential flooding events. These works include: Tree removals; fence repairs/installation; ecology surveys and reports; marine carcass and debris removal services; grass cutting; hedge cutting; weed killing; watercourse clearing including removal and disposal of silt, vegetation and trees; moss removal, disposal and restoration of grassed areas.
