Contract Ref: DN306220 Contract Name: Healthwatch and Service User Engagement with Adult Care contracts. Wiltshire Council is seeking to commission new Healthwatch and Service User Engagement contracts. Healthwatch: Healthwatch Wiltshire is the independent consumer champion for health and social care in the county, it • Represents the collective voice of patients, service users, carers and the public to commissioners, service providers and local politicians • Acts as focal point for the local community to have a voice in commissioning and provision of health and social care. • Provides opportunities for local people to influence decisions being made about their services, across the NHS and Social Care. Service User Engagement Provides Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Groups customers with a variety of opportunities to have input into adult care work for example, by consulting on specific adult care commissioning work The Council is looking to award contracts for a 3 year period (with a possible extension of a further two years). This tender will follow the light touch procedure (PCR 2015 Regulation 75).
