Description
NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB has agreed to work with local authority colleagues across, East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Northern Lincolnshire, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire to pool financial resources to support the delivery of a smoking cessation mass media campaign across the Yorkshire and Humber region. This will mean the smoking cessation mass media campaign will cover the following local authority areas: Wakefield, Leeds, Kirklees, Calderdale, Bradford, Doncaster, Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham in addition to Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, City of York and North Yorkshire. As part of the smoking cessation mass media campaign, it has been identified that associated communication assets - website, social media and public relations are required to further support and signpost the Yorkshire and Humber population to information, advice and guidance on how to stop / quit smoking. The requirements include but not limited to: • Website - creation, production and launch of a smoking cessation website. • Search engine optimisation (SEO) - to amplify and raise the profile of the website. • Social Media Strategy - development of a social media strategy with ongoing support, including social media toolkit. • Digital and social media paid for advertising - during the smoking cessation mass media campaign. • Public Relations (PR) support - Pin the lead up to, and during the mass media smoking cessation campaign period.
