Description
Suppliers may bid on one, two or all three of the following projects. The Authority has the following projects: o Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting at Bradwell Village School o Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting at Downs Barn School o Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting at Willen Primary School The Project Objectives are to ensure that: o Fire Alarm system upgrades to comply with the requirements of the latest version of BS 5839 - 1:2017; o Emergency Lighting installations in accordance with the current requirements of BS5266 Parts 1 & 7 (EN 1838); o Works are to enhance the School Buildings by upgrading poor condition elements to an L2 system; o Works are to improve the fire safety installations and means of escape of the School Buildings in accordance with Building Regulations Part B; o Works are carried out in compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, to ensure the health and safety of contractors, workers, and end users of the property; and o Works are completed on time, within budget and to a high quality.
