Description
Cambridgeshire County Council is commissioning a service to provide high-quality accommodation-based support for Looked After Children aged 16 and 17 and Care Leavers. The service aims to help young people acquire skills for independent living and adulthood responsibilities through a supported lodgings model. Supported lodgings services provide a young person with a room of their own in a private home. The householder, or host, provides a safe and supportive environment, working alongside professional services to help and support the young person in gaining skills for independent adult life. The role of the provider includes recruiting, assessing, supervising, and supporting hosts.
