Description
The products under this Framework Agreement are used throughout the NGN network. The purpose of this framework is to ensure continuity of supply of the sealant and associated equipment to the business at agreed rates and lead time and to ensure products conform to the correct specification and standards. The items under the framework agreement met the necessary Gas Industry Standards, LC9, LC12 and LC24, but there was a national strategy group considering if there was a requirement for the sealant to be manufactured to British Standards. In September 2022 new guidance and standards were published. This event was conduced under PA23 - PR24. The scope was split into 5 lots, indicated below: Lot 1 - Annular sealants Lot 2 - Leakage Sealants Lot 3 - Bar Hole Sealing Lot 4 - Flow Stopping Lot 5 - Live Insertion Interested suppliers were able to bid for any of the lots. This means they can bid for one or all or anything in between. This Framework value is estimated at £3m for the lifecycle of the contract.

| RFP 2 - Commercial | Suppliers can BID for any lines under the lot/s they put in for. Suppliers do not have to BID on all lines under each lot/s they put in for. Suppliers must include: Price per unit, Lead Time, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) & Supplier Part number detail for each line they BID on. Suppliers will be given an overall score for each line they bid for, incorporating all above-mentioned detail in the bullet point above, provided by the supplier. NGN will award each individual line a primary & alternative supplier/s. Award for alternative suppliers will only be given to any supplier that are awarded as a primary supplier of any line. If a supplier does not win any primary line, they will not be awarded a spot on the framework.
