Babcock Land Defence Ltd, acting as agent for the UK Ministry of Defence has awarder a 3 year contract using the Negotiated Procedure Without Prior Publication pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 to Horstman Defence Systems Ltd on the basis that, for technical reasons, the Contract can only be awarded to Horstman Defence Systems Ltd. Horstman Defence Systems Ltd, in its capacity as Design Authority, are the sole distributor of certain suspension components and associated items on the AS90, Bulldog, CR2 and Warrior and will only supply to the UK Ministry of Defence.
