Description
The Authority intends to award a contract to an existing provider following Direct Award Process C under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The service will provide community-based specialist treatment and support for adults with drug and/or alcohol use problems. The service to be delivered via this contract will reduce the impact of drug and alcohol use on the London Borough of Merton. It will address the health and social harms caused by drugs and alcohol including achieving a reduction in drug and alcohol related deaths. The service will be essential in operationalising the strategic direction set by the Merton Combatting Substance Misuse Partnership and it will support the London Borough of Merton in its work to deliver the goals of the national 10-year drug strategy. The scope of these services falls within The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This contract has now been awarded; following the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Intention to Award notice published on the 11th November 2024. The provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this procurement. The publication of this notice confirms the conclusion of the standstill period.
