Description
HMG has a clear obligation to ensure UK meets its international obligations. Under the IMO Instruments Implementation Code, the UK will be subject to a mandatory IMO audit no later than autumn 2020 and at seven year intervals thereafter. DFT identified there will need to be three additional lawyers full time over three years to complete the programme of work required.
