Description

Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service (LFRS) are going out to Tender to award a Framework Agreement on behalf of Lancashire Combined Fire Authority, Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority, Cheshire Fire Authority and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service for Clinical Governance and Trauma / First Aid Training. LFRS are intending to appoint a Service Provider who will provide a reliable, efficient, auditable and cost effective clinical governance arrangement. LFRS staffs 39 fire stations, plus a Service Headquarters (SHQ) site in Preston and a Service Training Centre (STC) in Chorley. This equates to approximately 900 operational staff and 100 non-operational staff. The appointed Service Provider will be expected to provide an innovative approach to clinical governance utilising new technologies and equipment where appropriate, providing benefits and making recommendations on how existing arrangements can be improved to achieve best standards, cost savings and efficiencies.
