Contract 17302 HMP Send Drama Workshop October 2019

HMP Send is looking to commission a provider to deliver three unaccredited drama workshop courses at HMP Send. The required provision of each workshop includes: 1. Each drama workshop will run for 4.5 days; Monday through to Friday, with the performance at the end of the week as the final outcome. 2. A play to be staged on Friday morning for a prison audience. To be hosted in an appropriate and viable space within the prison. 3. The class will have a maximum of 15 learners and two members of your own staff. 4. The prison will provide a room big enough for 17 people to work and rehearse, however this may be subject to change. 5. All of the provider's staff will be subject to the appropriate vetting and be expected to work with, instruct and supervise the learners unescorted by Prison staff. 6. The drama production and workshop of each course will have a specific theme involving each of the following subjects in turn: Prison Debt, Substance Abuse & Violence
