Description

Birmingham City Council, in partnership with Bromsgrove District Council, Worcestershire County Council prepared the Longbridge Area Action Plan (LAAP) to secure the comprehensive regeneration of the Longbridge area following closure of the MG Rover plant in 2005.The LAAP was adopted in April 2009 and is both a policy and implementation tool that sets out aims and objectives for Longbridge development. Supporting Healthy living and sports development is one of the community infrastructure improvements identified through various baseline studies and consultation, and identified under the AAP Sustainability Strategy (S2) and Table 2 of the LAAP.
