Description
East Riding of Yorkshire Council requires interim education for children and young people of compulsory school age: • Without a current setting i.e. in between schools. • Permanently excluded • CLA whose care placement changes to a different geographical location. A child begins to be of compulsory school age on the start date of the term following their fifth birthday. A child ceases to be of compulsory school age on the last Friday in June in the academic year in which they reach the age of 16. The interim education required is either: • (Lot 1) One to one tuition at an agreed location either locally or nationally dependant on the child/young person's location. • (Lot 2) Online tuition (virtual learning) to a pupil or a group of pupils. The requirements of this tender are very specific, and suppliers must comply completely, no variation is allowed. Suppliers must also comply with the pricing requirement as detailed. This Framework is being procured under the Light Touch Regime.
