Description
Privileged Access Management (PAM) software is a cybersecurity solution that secures, manages, and monitors privileged accounts-those with elevated access to critical systems and data. It uses a combination of processes and technologies to help prevent unauthorised access, control administrative functions, and reduce the risk of data breaches by enforcing the principle of least privilege. PAM provides an additional source of auditing making it easier to identify misuse of administration interfaces. PAM acts as a strong deterrent against the insider threat, where a legitimate system administrator may consider abusing their access. PAM provides additional guard rails to help system administrators protect their access credentials and protect them from accidentally making unintended changes. As HCC has numerous systems that host sensitive material it is imperative the cybersecurity of these systems is monitored for data breaches. This contract will enable IT to continue to ensure systems that help deliver HCC services are safe and secure.
