Description

Cambridgeshire County Council have a combined Cleaning & Grounds Maintenance contract, which has been in place since 2023. This process is a re-procurement of that contract. The current contract is accessed by Fenland District Council for cleaning services, and this new process shall also be accessed by Fenland DC (only for cleaning services). The Authority wishes to appoint one Provider to provide a Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance Service to the organisation across a variety of properties within the geographical boundaries of the County of Cambridgeshire. The Provider shall be expected to undertake a comprehensive cleaning service, including routine daily cleaning of varying types of buildings, deep cleans, periodic cleans, window cleaning, provision of sanitary bins and nappy bins, barrier matting and other requirements usually associated with a contact of this type, including reactive and preventative pest control and also gritting and snow cleaning services, as well as a Grounds Maintenance service.

Shortlisting for Tender Stage: The Authority intends to invite 5 - 7 Applicants to submit Tenders. The aim of this first stage is for bidders to express their interest in participating in the procurement by submitting their completed Conditions of Participation and for the Authority to use the completed Conditions of Participation to compile a shortlist of suitably experienced and qualified bidders to progress to the next stage of the CFP. Bidders are required to complete the Conditions of Participation as the first stage of this CFP. This response alongside the core information accessed from the Central Digital Platform/Find a Tender Service will be used to shortlist bidders up to a maximum of 7.
