TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO THE HQ AIR COMMAND QATAR AIR PROGRAMME OFFICE

The Qatar Air Programme Office (QAPO) resides within HQ Air Command and requires programme and project support to facilitate the delivery of the MoD elements of the Qatar Typhoon, Hawk and Air to Air Refuelling service (AAR) Programmes and the development of further UK/Qatar collaboration opportunities. The activities of the programme office are considered both novel and contentious with the MoD acting as a supplier and customer friend on behalf of the Qatari Armed Forces. Due to the nature of the portfolio and the complexities of the platform force elements the QAPO require a broad range of air capability technical knowledgeable and experienced resource.
