Description
Works to raise the level of the existing sea bank near Wrangle, Lincolnshire, over a length of approximately 5.8km, to improve coastal flood protection and reduce the risk of tidal flooding. The project is an Environment Agency (EA) scheme to improve an EA flood defence asset. However, the Witham Fourth District Internal Drainage Board (W4IDB) shall deliver the project and provide the benefits of their local knowledge and resources. Peter Brett Associates LLP are appointed by W4IDB as Consultants providing civil engineering and project management services for the scheme. For the purposes of this procurement the W4IDB is the contracting authority. Bidders should note that the contract is funded through European Structural & Investment Fund (ESIF) which is managed through the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and underwritten by Lincolnshire County Council (LCC).
