Review of the proposed climate change policies in the draft Sandwell Local Plan (Regulation 19 stage) - AWARD

Undertake a review of the proposed climate change and related policies set out in the draft Regulation 19 Sandwell Local Plan. Provide a robust evidence base that justifies the inclusion of the draft climate change policies. Provide guidance on strengthening related policy ambitions / outcomes wherever possible in line with the climate change policies. Provide supporting evidence to implementing the following: o Establishing a carbon offset fund for remaining carbon emissions o Identifying opportunities to understand and potentially reduce carbon emissions from sources beyond current regulations, namely unregulated and embodied carbon
