Description
The Works are the Design and Redevelopment of Christ Church, Maryport as the Maryport Maritime Museum. The works will be tendered in two stages.(Stage 1 Tender - C1 Information Requirements) Following the first stage, a preferred contractor will be engaged to work alongside the consultant team to develop a robust fixed price for the works. It is expected that the contractor will input into the scheme at his own cost and the employer will cover costs associated with the consultant team in accordance with their agreed scope of works and existing appointments. The aim of this partnering process is to reduce project risk to an absolute minimum, achieve the highest degree of cost certainty and ensure a highly 'buildable' solution is developed to the quality expectations of the employer as set out in the Stage 1 tender documents. Stage 3 will be the construction of the scheme on site. The contract will be for 1 year. Operators are now being formally invited to meet this requirement and the purpose of the documentation supplied is to provide the necessary information to enable Tenderers to submit a response. Further details are available upon registration of your interest to this invitation. All further correspondence about this project must be directed through the notification link on The Chest.
