Description
This is project SD0497, pilot 9 Innovative application of remote sensing to forestry management and monitoring. Accurate remote sensing data will enable detailed assessments of woodland habitat loss or woodland degradation by tracking canopy change. This data will be used to help compile the State of Natural Resources Report and to support the Nature Recovery plan in Wales. The data will likewise be used to underpin reporting on woodland habitats within the 25 year plan in England and the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy in Scotland
