SAN Enhancements

The strategic context The GMC currently has a HP3PAR 7400 Storage Area Network solution in place. Capacity planning has shown that additional provision is required in order to support the growth needs of the business including the relocation of services from the GMC London data centre to the GMC Manchester data centre. SAN Replication is a critical part of our BCP strategy and as such the ability to replicate with our existing 3PAR equipment is a key requirement. As such we are inviting tenders from suppliers who can meet this additional capacity requirement. 59.
