Description
Family Hubs are a place-based way of joining up the planning and delivery of services. They bring family services together to improve access and connections between families, professionals, services, and providers, and put relationships at the heart of family support. They offer specific and enhanced support to families from conception to two, and to those with children of all ages, which is 0-19 or up to 25 years old for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The aim of this project is to provide an expert led housing service from Hackney Children's Centres (CCs) and Children and Family Hubs (C&FHs) where parents/carers of young children can have easy access to free advice, support and advocacy if they are living in poor housing conditions, and/or at risk of facing eviction/homelessness. It is a preventative measure to reduce inequalities and improve life outcomes of children from low income families who are affected by these conditions.
