Description
The University of Sunderland is the fifth largest recruiter of international students in the UK. As well as our two Sunderland-based campuses we operate a site at Canary Wharf in London as well as delivering our programmes to 6,500 overseas students in their own countries. We also operate National Glass Centre, a centre of excellence and visitor attraction for contemporary glass. The University is looking to make a step change in its approach to its digital marketing. We have reviewed our digital platforms and technology, digital strategy, organizational structure and capability and also commissioned an environmental audit and a piece of stakeholder research to help inform our vision and objectives for this project. Central to our approach will be the provision of a new website that will engage and inform stakeholders and attract students to study with us. The new website will be the University’s most important platform to communicate our brand and share information to a global and highly competitive marketplace. The University of Sunderland is seeking to appoint a proactive and innovative partner to work with us to develop our new website presence, perhaps over several phases. Elements of this project would initially include stakeholder engagement, project planning, web design and development, testing and roll out. Our current website is delivered using a Content Management System (Terminal 4) and hosted and serviced by the University’s Web Team and IT Services. Content and design of the site is overseen by the Marketing Services Team. The University of Sunderland invites submissions for:- LOT 1 - WEBSITE DESIGN AND BUILD The scope of this lot covers the design, build and development of the University of Sunderland's website – www.sunderland.ac.uk , including but not limited to: • Interpreting a piece of commissioned website research and a client brief in order to present visual solution options and a project plan • Design of the website architecture, navigation and user experience; • Design of a modern, responsive and personalised website • Build, development and all associated technical phases of site construction including linkages with current systems eg data capture, CRM etc Support Services available within this lot, (but not limited to): • Implementation and roll out; • Consultancy and ongoing maintenance; • Testing and refining phase.
