Provision of Technical Advisory Services for Urban Climate Change Project in China

Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) awarded the contract to ICF Consulting Limited to provide Consultation of Gap Analysis and Recommendations for China's National ETS. This project will conduct a target analysis on market transparency, application of green finance tools, and the compliance status of China's national ETS by the end of March 2022, to identify specific gaps to a functional market in Green House Gas (GHG) emissions reduction. On the top of this gaps analysis, the supplier will draw up an analysis of relevant UK expertise, matching this to the gaps identified, and produce a tangible plan for transferring expertise and knowledge to influence the development of China's ETS. The Contract may extend for a period of up to 6 months.
