Description
Following competition, a contract for the delivery of the National Tutoring Programme Phase 2 has been awarded. The National Tutoring Programme aims to deliver high quality tutoring services to English Schools in the support of disadvantaged pupils. Building on Year 1, NTP Phase 2 will establish an education sector prime supplier to manage the totality of the NTP services driving both quality and value from the end-to-end service. The supplier will ensure the high quality of tuition and the realisation of ambitious targets for both pupil reach, and attainment catch up. To do this, the Supplier will establish a panel of tuition providers, and associated tutors, to deliver targeted tutoring services offered to all disadvantaged pupils, based on pupil premium, from 5-16-year-olds. The Supplier will also recruit and provide Academic Mentors to the most disadvantaged Schools, as set out in the eligibility criteria. NTP Phase 2 service delivery is expected to begin from Sept 2021.
