Description
The Yorkshire and Humber region Local Authorities, The Trust and Voluntary Agencies submitted an expression of interest in becoming an early adopter of the governments Adoption Regionalisation Plans. The Yorkshire and Humber Region now wishes to commission an intensive piece of work to assist the Local Authorities, the Trust and the Voluntary Sector partners in the region to have in place a detailed transition plan by 31st March 2016 for regionalising adoption services. A series of Project Boards and Task Groups are in place and have done a significant amount of work to gather information and establish an agreed direction. Some detailed modelling work is now needed to help define in more detail the financial, staffing and governance arrangements A contractor is required to provide a high quality planning and transitional service. The contractor will work with identified personnel from the regional project board and the regional adoption agency (RAA) project boards to plan the transition to regional and sub-regional models of enabling adoption and other forms of permanence for looked after children.
