Description
To design, manufacture and install 5no. signs to the Nottingham Trent University Newton Building, consisting of the following: A) 3no. 'NTU shield' signs to the Main Tower (south, east and west elevations of the Tower). B) 1no. 'NTU shield' sign to the North facing plinth (Other end of the Building to the Tower). C) 1no. 'NOTTINGHAM TRENT UNIVERSITY' lettering sign above the main entrance to the building. See Locations attached on the Design Tender Documentation, pages 5 to 13. Page 14 of the Design Tender Document shows the two illumination methods which would be acceptable (Side Face or Halo). "NTU" lettering in crest to be lit and side-face illumination is preferred for both crest and lettering if feasible (WHITE). The contractor is responsible for the fixing of all the signs and need to ensure these are invisible. Page 15 of the Design Tender Documents show the preferred and not acceptable fixing methods. Cabling must be managed and colour matched to building if at all visible. Minimal penetrations required with robust weatherproofing.
