The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) is a not for profit organisation owned by its full members consisting of 24 Universities. NWUPC set up and contract manage framework agreements, which are established to ensure compliance with the European Procurement Regulations which cover public sector contracts over a certain threshold value. NWUPC are conducting a tender process for the retender of a framework agreement for White Goods & Associated Electrical Appliances. The agreement is a national framework agreement and is available to members of the following consortia: APUC, CPC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC and SUPC. The scope of the agreement includes, but is not limited to, the following: Ovens, Fridges, Fridge-freezers, Freezers, Washing Machines, Washer/Dryers, Tumble Dryers, Dishwashers, Kettles, Toasters, Microwaves, Microwave & Grill, Steam Irons, Heaters, Sandwich Toasters and Rice Cookers and other large and small electrical appliances. These products will be utilised in the following areas: Student Accommodation, Offices, Hotels and other additional types of accommodation. This list is not exhaustive. This agreement has been split into two lots as follows: Lot 1 White Goods (Great Britain and British Isles) and Lot 2 White Goods (Northern Ireland).
