Description
Purpose of service National Highways intends to establish a contract for the provision of Risk Lead Services, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, a Planning Manager and Assistant Project Managers to form a core delivery team. This team will primarily support HS2 Phase One within the HS2 Interfacing Team, part of the Significant Projects Division in Major Projects. In addition, the requirement includes a Programme Lead/Team Co-ordinator to act as the main liaison and organiser for the Consultant's core team, along with a Financial & Contract Administrator to support the Interfacing Programme throughout the duration of the contract. Background. The UK Government has committed to the delivery of HS2 Phase One, a new high-speed rail link between London and the West Midlands. The scale and complexity of the programme means that construction and future operation of HS2 will intersect heavily with the Strategic Road Network (SRN), resulting in significant design, operational and construction-related interfaces.
