WSCC DJ Supported Employment Service - AWARD

The Supported Employment Service is made up of several elements which are broadly summarised as follows: • Vocational profiling which includes identifying realistic aspirations, relevant skills and previous experience , learning/development needs and supporting the individual to understand the requirements and consequences of employment • Action Planning • Benefits advice • Job Search • Provision/signposting to short courses • Support on the job • Reviewing and continued support where necessary • Work with employers to overcome barriers • Working with other agencies e.g. Job Centre Plus.
