Description
This specification outlines the requirements to deliver the automatic doors contract to the University of Manchester. This includes the supply, installation, erection, hire, maintenance, and inspection of automatic doors across the University estate. The Contractor shall allow for and carry out the works in accordance with the Documents, Contract Conditions, British & European Standards, Statutory Requirements, all Law, the Contract and this document to the satisfactions of the Employer and appointed Consultants. The Contractor is to refer to any Architectural, Structural and other Consultant documentation prior to carrying out any works. This document describes the extent of the works, and the outline responsibilities of the Contractor. The details set out within this document are not intended to exclude or limit any other items that may be required by the Contractor, by or on behalf of The University, the Statutory Authorities and/or good construction practice. All works ancillary to, or in conjunction with, those detailed within this document will be deemed to have been included in the Contract Sum. You must complete all applicable documents and upload them onto the portal.
