Description
This opportunity is advertised via The Chest https://www.the-chest.org.uk/ Project reference - DN454976. Cumbria County Council ("the Council") seeks to appoint a competent Service Provider for the undertaking of works associated with Reactive, Statutory and Planned Maintenance for Electrical & Mechanical and Building Fabric for the Council's Corporate Properties (Sites) in Cumbria. The Contract is to cover approximately Two hundred and Forty One Cumbria County Council managed properties. In addition to the Corporate Council sites, the School Estate has the option to buy into the contract and should be accommodated at the agreed rates/ prices presented within the tender. The Council proposes to enter into the Contract(s) Agreement for a maximum period of 22 months with the successful Tenderer (Service Provider) with an option for further 2 single year extensions to March 2024 (Total 46 months).The Contract term may only be extended if it was advertised on this basis and the Council shall have absolute discretion to extend the contract.
