Description
The project comprises the removal and replacement of both the existing shopfront façade and the side access entry doors, with new powder coated aluminium fittings, to meet OPCC security specifications. External building fabric repairs (some at high/roof level) are required and include repair to roof finishes, timber resin repairs to windows, repointing, external joinery redecoration and the like. Existing sanitaryware and kitchen units and white goods are to be removed and replaced with new, including the formation of new Unisex WCs and Shower area. New internal partitions and doors are to be installed to sub-divide the existing space and to suit client requirements with works including new floor & wall finishes throughout. Existing doors are to be improved to meet 30min fire standards. A new mechanical ventilation system is to be installed, with further modifications to existing mechanical and electrical systems included - allowing for builders' works in connection with. Additional smoke detection and directional signage is to be introduced, together with upgrading of the existing directional signage. The property will be vacant during the course of the works.
