Description
As part of NHS England's future modelling for eyecare, Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB sought a digital solution to facilitate an accelerated pathway for cataract patient referrals, via an automated telephone assistant. The aim was to provide a single point of access for patients to be offered a choice of suitable cataract surgery providers based on individual needs, and to streamline the referral process within the ICS through the collaborative sharing of consistent clinical information. The contract has been awarded via Lot 2 of the CCS G-Cloud-13 Digital Framework. The commencement date is 1st May 2024 for an initial period of one year, with an optional 12-month extension period, from the specified service commencement date. The agreement will be governed by the CCS G-Cloud-13 call off terms.
