Description
The Greater Manchester local authorities have formed a network of air quality monitoring stations to share information and resources between the 10 boroughs of Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan. The network is referred to as the Greater Manchester Air quality Network (GMAQN). There is also the option for Transport for Greater Manchester to be part of this network and utilise this contract. The GMAQN is seeking to appoint suitable contractors to provide a flexible, responsive and consistently high quality service in relation to the servicing, maintenance, quality assurance & control (QA/QC) and data management of their reference automatic air quality monitoring units and other related support services. The successful contractor appointed for the Lot 1 - GMAQN servicing and maintenance will be known as the Equipment Support Unit (ESU). The successful contractor appointed for the Lot 2 - GMAQN data management will be known as Greater Manchester Management Control Unit (GMMCU).
