Description
The General Dental Council (GDC) has awarded a contract to DeHavilland for the provision of Parliamentary Monitoring and Associated Services. This service will deliver a range of tailored political monitoring services aligned with the GDC's specific areas of interest, including: - Dentistry - Oral health - The wider health sector - Regulatory reform - Stakeholder engagement activities The service will cover all four nations of the UK, ensuring comprehensive updates from their respective parliaments or assemblies. Additionally, it will encompass coverage from across all media channels. Key service provisions include: - Parliamentary Monitoring: Full coverage and updates on relevant debates, questions, select committee activities, Government bills, and other legislative developments that may impact the health sector or regulation. The service will also include key government announcements relevant to the GDC's work. - Political Monitoring: Updates on party political news and policy developments that affect the GDC's areas of interest. - Stakeholder Monitoring: Key updates on stakeholder activities and their responses to government announcements, consultations, or parliamentary bills. The contract commences on 1 September 2024, for an initial period of three years, with the option to extend for up to a further two years, at the GDC's discretion.
