Service of APHA Automated Liquid Handling Systems

The purpose of this Contract Award Notice is to announce the Animal Plant and Plant Health Agency's (APHA) are entering into a contract for a Premium Plus Service Plan with Hamilton Sales & Service UK LTD for 3 years with options to extend by a further period of up to 2 years (i.e. 3+1+1). It will provide Preventative and Corrective Maintenance services for the equipment, which can only be provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This requirement is needed for Hamilton Vantage Liquid Handling Systems owned by APHA. These systems automate testing preparation, enhancing efficiency and traceability. The systems are also used daily for national Brucellosis surveys, which are essential for maintaining the UK's Brucella-free status and supporting international trade. Please note: The contract start date will be 07 April 2025 not 14 July 2025 as reported on the notice.
