Description
Bath & North East Somerset has awarded the Contract for the provision of the ASC Support at Home Services. The procurement run in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, Light Touch Regime (LTR) above-threshold, one stage tender. The Support at Home Service will help people remain living at home, gain in confidence, and provide short term practical help after hospital discharge or following community or out-patient medical care to prevent admission to hospital.

Suppliers must provide up to three contract examples from the last 3 years demonstrating experience in delivering short-term, community-based social care services for at least 300 individuals annually, with 24-hour response capability, health pathway integration, and management of a mixed paid/volunteer workforce, including volunteer training and supervision. The option to justify a lack of relevant experience has been removed, and Q19.3 is marked as N/A. Suppliers must meet the technical ability requirements in Q19.1 and Q19.2.
