Description

East Midlands Academic Health Science Network brings together the NHS, universities, industry, third sector, patients and social care to transform the health of East Midlands residents and stimulate wealth creation. We achieve this through: Promoting health equality and best practice Speeding up the spread and adoption of innovation into practice Building a culture of partnership and collaboration Putting patients and the public at the heart of everything we do Working with industry to promote the adoption and spread of proven products and services. EMAHSN's vision reflects the NHS constitution: The transformation of patient access, experiences and outcomes at the earliest opportunity through innovation and enterprise working at the limits of science, bringing the highest level of human knowledge and skill to save lives and improve health. Within this procurement, EMAHSN is seeking to award contracts for the provision of support services for life science and med tech industries within the East Midlands, and support services for NHS entrepreneurs to develop ideas into businesses. This is a two-lot procurement. Bidders are able to submit tenders for one or both Lots, but each Lot must be presented as, and open for acceptance as, a standalone offer, as there is no suggestion or guarantee that success with a submission for one Lot will result in the award for both Lots.
