Description
The aim of the service is to deliver support to people with a range of support needs who require temporary accommodation due to their homelessness. The focus of the support is to address the underlying reasons for homelessness, prepare them for a move into independent accommodation and to reduce the risk of repeat homelessness presentations. The support service will deliver 24 hour support, to 48 service users including emergency access services using a mixed Tiered Model of provision: • Tier 1 - Short Stay generic beds for homeless or other vulnerable people with a broad range of support needs • Tier 2 - High risk high needs beds, for people with higher support needs who require an additional levels of support. The intention will be for the successful provider to enter into a management agreement with the current landlord of Mildmay House.
