Description
Fairfax Multi Academy Trust (FMAT) is seeking to appoint competent and accredited Contractors to deliver statutory estates compliance services across its academies. The services include the inspection, testing, servicing, certification, and reporting of statutory compliance activities to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, and British Standards. The contract is divided into five Lots: • Lot 1 - Fire Safety Compliance • Lot 2 - Electrical Safety & Compliance • Lot 3 - Water Hygiene & Legionella Control • Lot 4 - Gas, Boilers & Pressure Systems • Lot 5 - Lifting Equipment & LOLER Compliance The Contractor(s) will be required to deliver all services in accordance with statutory requirements, approved service frequencies, and FMAT compliance requirements, with full certification and reporting uploaded to the Trust's compliance management system (HANDSAM). The contract will be for an initial term of three years with the option to extend.

The contract will be awarded for an initial term of three (3) years commencing on 1 October 2026 and expiring on 30 September 2029. FMAT reserves the right to extend the contract for a further period of up to two (2) years, taking the maximum contract term to 30 September 2031. Extensions may be applied in increments of up to twelve (12) months and will be subject to satisfactory Contractor performance, continued compliance with statutory requirements, operational requirements, and FMAT approval. FMAT reserves the right not to exercise any extension option.

Participation
Conditions suppliers must meet to bid.
Tenderers must demonstrate that they possess the relevant technical competence, qualifications, experience, resources, and accreditations necessary to deliver the statutory compliance services for the Lot(s) tendered. Tenderers must: Have relevant experience delivering comparable statutory compliance services. Employ suitably qualified and competent personnel. Hold all relevant licences, registrations, certifications, and industry accreditations applicable to the services being delivered. Maintain appropriate insurance cover. Comply with all applicable health and safety, safeguarding, equality, employment, and modern slavery legislation. Demonstrate financial stability appropriate to the Lot(s) tendered. FMAT reserves the right to request supporting evidence, certifications, references, policies, and other documentation as part of the evaluation process.
