Description

Central Region - East - Woodbridge, Suffolk - LPG Network Replacement for 200 properties Brief scope of works This project entails the D&B of a replacement LPG network supplying 200 properties on the Woodbridge estate. The cttr will be responsible for creating a network design that meets current stds, incorporating recommendations from a DNV Technical Report. To facilitate seamless construction and ongoing maintenance, the design must support a phased approach, allowing properties to transition from the existing LPG gas supplies to the new network in stages. Each property will have a ground-mounted meter installed, to allow for other utilities. The contractor will handle all excavation/installation/testing of the LPG mains/service connections. Each segment of the network will undergo pressure testing in line with IGEM stds. At completion, the cttr will restore affected sites, incl pathways and landscaping. Final inspection with stakeholders will verify compliance, and comprehensive O&M and as-built docs, including test certs, will be provided as part of the closeout process. For Amey to accept any EoI it is ESSENTIAL that any subcontractor is: • willing to act as Main Contractor (ESSENTIAL); • a member of Constructionline at GOLD; • capable of working in a BIM environment; • compliant with DefStan 05-138 • willing to deliver Social Value to our Client. DESIRABLE attributes of our Supply Chain: • have a CSR policy; • have a Bus Cont & Disaster Rec'y Plan If successful the subcttr will need to pass a PQQ, sign up to Amey T&Cs, and meet the MoD Sec Reqts.
