Description
Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG) is seeking to procure a cycle training provider to deliver all of its core cycle training services in primary and secondary schools, to individuals, groups, families, and professional drivers, for the next 3 years. Cycle training forms a key part of the Council's behaviour change programme, with the intention of getting more people cycling, more often and even more safely. This objective is one of the main components of the Cycling Strategy (2014), alongside the development of more and better cycle routes in the Borough. The provider will deliver Bikeability Levels 1-3 training to anyone, regardless of ability, aged 7 and over. Training will be free of charge for a maximum of 4 hours for individuals and pairs. Training in groups will not be subject to the same limits. Training will be primarily delivered from our two training hubs in Charlton and Eltham, where a fleet of bikes is currently stored.
