Description
This scheme is located along the A421 at the Marston interchange in Bedfordshire. Following a significant rainfall in September 2024 the A421 pumping station at Marston interchange was overwhelmed and the electrical supply to the pumps was submerged in water. This scheme is to reinstate new pumps and relocate the control kiosk to higher ground at the north bound entry slip to the A421. Currently there are temporary pumps and generators operating at the pumping station until this scheme is constructed. We would like to secure UK Power Networks (Operations) Limited (CIS) Divert/Connect as the supplier to relocate the cabling and electricity supply to the new location for the pumping station. UK Power Networks (Operations) Limited (CIS) Divert/Connect are a statutory authority for power supply in the East region and we have no alternative power supply companies
